I have an Acer 3620 laptop which came with Windows XP installed as OEM, but no Windows XP backup disc. Several of my accessories components (Wordpad, Paint, Calculator, etc. have disappeared from my computer completely (Trust me, they are gone. I searched for *.exe in all files and folders on all drives, including hidden and system files, and there is no trace of the missing accessories.)
I tried going to 'Windows Downloads' on line and found zillions of updates, but no mention of my missing accessories.
Such being the case, and with no backup disc, how can I get my accessories programs back?
